TMK-RESITA is located in Resita, in southwestern Romania, approximately 400 km from TMK-ARTROM. The plant has more than 260 years of history and experience in producing steel and rolled products.
TMK-RESITA produces tubular billets, heavy round profiles and blooms. In February 2007, TMK-RESITA launched a new continuous-casting line for blanks, with a capacity of 450,000 tonnes per year.
Since 2007, the majority of TMK-RESITA’s steel production goes to TMK-ARTROM.
TMK-RESITA has implemented and certified an efficient Quality Management System planned according to ISO 9001, integrated with the Environmental Management System implemented and certified according to ISO 14001. Since January 2008, it has been integrated with the OHSAS Management System, implemented according to OHSAS 18001:2007.
The Integrated Management System for both companies is permanently planned, maintained and developed through its processes continuous improvement and it is periodically audited and evaluated.

TUV SUD body according to AD 2000-Merkblatt W0/TRD100 for S235JRG, S275JR, S355J2G3 and S355J2G3 according to AD2000 Merkblatt W10,W13/TRD100.

Those steel grade above mentioned have PED approval according to European Directive 97/23/EC.

TMK-RESITA have a certification for products BV Mode II and DNV certification as casting billets producer used in the Vessel industry.
TMK-RESITA is IPPC authorized (an integrated pollution prevention and control according to Directive 96/61/EC).
